The Materials Management Department is another example of NBTC’s backward integration approach. Our facility meets the end to end needs of NBTC from sourcing, procurement and expediting the best materials and equipment in a cost effective manner, from local markets and overseas. A central warehouse accommodates bulk materials and is automated with a tailored MM module on SAP Platform to meet the company’s requirements. MMD is a major department with diverse activities of inventory monitoring and management, asset management, warehousing involving storage and preservation, catering to all divisions and departments across the organization.
