Festivity at NBTC was paramount on Friday, February 24, 2023, when the Managing Director hoisted the flag and released Tri-Colour balloons to the skies, marking the opening of NBTC Winter Carnival ’23. Organized at the premises of Corporate Office was one of the momentous events of NBTC displaying the culinary skills of employees, staff & families. The food stalls displayed diverse and rich dishes from different regions.
The public function was graced by His Excellency Mr. Kandeepan Balasubramaniam - Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the State of Kuwait, His Excellency Mr. Durga Prasad Bhandari - Ambassador of Nepal to the State of Kuwait along with Dr. Daniel Koshy and Managing Director K. G. Abraham. Winners of various competitions from Annual Sports meet, Scholarships for Children of Employees , Class Topper Award for Class 10th & 12 for Children of Employees were presented with trophies and medals.
His Excellency Mr. Kandeepan Balasubramaniam & His Excellency Mr. Durga Prasad Bhandari unveiled the model of 50 Houses being built for the employees, “Project HOME FOR HOMELESS – PHASE IV”
Another highlight of the evening was the performance of playback singers Mr. HarisankaK. S. Harisankar & Ms. Neha Venugopal. The unique event turned out to be a day of merriment, fun, games, music, and dances that entertained over mass gathering of over 5000 including employees, families and well wishers.
The cultural bonanza continued with dance performances by the budding performers of Employee’s children and the NBTC Band, Desert Thunder.
Mind blowing events felt short of time – mouthwatering delicacies left no room in everyone, while smiles on the faces of the parting crowd heightened the joy with gratitude and signaled their hope for the next event.
