The event started with the Safety Moment, which was followed by an inaugural speech by the Managing Director, Mr. K. G. Abraham, who emphasised the importance of sport in uniting the NBTC family as "One team, One family." Chairman Mohammed Al Baddah addressed the gathering and appreciated the Sporting Spirit of Employees and encouraged them to join the Sports with Enthusiasm and Competition.

In the speech, Mr. K. S. Vijayachandran, Corporate Director - Operations, emphasised on the benefits of playing sports and how it helps to stay fit both mentally and physically. Mr. Aninda Banerji, Group Chief Financial Officer extended his compliments to All participants of Annual Sports Meet. The overwhelming enthusiasm seen among our employees is a result of the encouragement they received from the Management, said Mr. Manoj Nandhiyalath, General Manager - Admin & HR (Corporate).

The Sports meet was formally Inaugurated by hoisting the NBTC flag. This was followed by the Flame Lighting relay and the athlete’s oath led by Mr. Shibey Abraham, Director.

The Friendly Cricket match between ZOR Terminators and CFP Warriors was Inaugurated by The Managing Director, Corporate Director-Operations and General Manager of Trading Division with the NBTC Family cheering their leader.
