A moment of pride and progress unfolded on December 16, 2025, as NBTC Group marked another milestone with the key handover ceremony of six new XCMG Cranes, comprising three QY85KH (85 TON) and three QY50KD (50 TON) units supplied by M/s Al Mulla Group. The event, held at the NBTC Equipment Division premises, symbolizes the company’s unwavering commitment to growth, innovation, and excellence in engineering.

The ceremony was graced by distinguished representatives from both organizations. Mr. Saad Elmahmoud, Sales Manager of Al Mulla Group (XCMG), officially handed over the keys to Mr. K.G. Alexander, (DMD-KSA Operations & Equipment Division) NBTC Group. Adding to the moment’s significance, key leaders including Mr. Vinod Kurup (General Manager, Equipment Division), Mr. Rohin Alex (Deputy Manager, Operations Equipment Division), and Eng. Hanan Najjar (Assistant Sales Manager, Al Mulla Group XCMG) attended the event, highlighting the strong partnership between the two organizations.

This strategic addition of state-of-the-art cranes will greatly enhance NBTC’s operational capabilities and service excellence, reinforcing its position as a regional leader in heavy lifting and infrastructure support. The investment demonstrates NBTC's forward-looking approach and continuous commitment to providing clients with world-class solutions across multiple sectors.

Further amplifying this momentum, NBTC Group achieved another remarkable milestone by acquiring the CC 8800-1 Crawler Crane, the first in the GCC equipped with Euro 5 emission standards and advanced technology. With an impressive lifting capacity of 1,600 tons, this powerhouse machine ranks among the most advanced cranes globally and represents a major leap in NBTC’s lifting and project execution capabilities.

Further showcasing this momentum, NBTC Group climbed nine places in the prestigious 2025 IC100 Index by International Cranes and Specialized Transport, securing the 72nd position globally—an impressive rise from 81st in 2024. Regionally, NBTC now proudly stands as the 5th largest crane company in the GCC and 2nd in Kuwait, reaffirming its reputation for excellence, safety, and innovation.
